HERE'S THE STORY:
I believe Exploration in every corner of the earth has led the brave of heart to the discovery of uncontaminated places of primitive beauty.
Those who undertake such travels must be motivated by something beyond mere curiosity. Maybe such people understand better than others that thing we call desire.
I have the desire to give hope to anyone affected by ALS. To symbolize the epic journey of living life with ALS I will be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania Africa on August 2nd, 2010. I have never been camping and I am pretty freaked out by most outdoor activities and the creatures I may encounter, mainly anything that crawls or slithers. I am not doing this climb for fun, I am climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro to prove to my mom, Yvonne and everyone living with or affected by ALS that anything is possible if you are determined and have hope! My goal is to raise funds to find the cause of and cure for A.L.S. Please donate to my cause and stay tuned for pictures of me on the summit!
