YLI engages young people of metro-Detroit as leaders for the transformation of the church and world. We are a United Methodist related organization hoping to make real the love of Jesus Christ through the efforts, energy, and creativity of dedicated young people. Our programs are:
MOTOWN MISSION EXPERIENCE - youth and young adult mission destination in the city of Detroit which engages young people in "economic disaster recovery work" in the name of Jesus Christ. (more)
METRO YOUTH ENCOUNTER - exploring ways to nurture High School students as missional entrepreneurs for their local churches and communities. MYE is currently designed as a micro-grant and ministry incubator for youth with innovative minsitry ideas for their local churches. (more)
TRANSFORMING LEADERS - Summertime mission internships for college students interested in service, intentional community, and spiritual discernment. (more)
WSU CATALYST - the return of United Methodist sponsored campus ministries to Wayne State University focusing on student-led, $100 seeded, mission projects and engagement with dynamic leaders from faith and service communities around Detroit. (more)
EMERGEDETROIT & DETROIT VILLAGES - Network of young adult and intentional communities interested in living authentic lives of radical discipleship in and around Detroit, MI. (more)

I cannot believe we are in 1st place. Thanks to all of you guys for helping me with this. Seriously. Today is the last day. I would be so fricken excited if any of you could just reach out to 2 or 3 of your friends and ask them to donate. Sophia Bush is in it to win it. So are Edward Norton and Seth Rogen.
