Forever Angels Baby Home in Tanzania has been saving lives, supporting families, and transforming communities for the past 10 years. Over the next 3 months we will be showcasing what has been achieved at Forever Angels over the past decade, with a new photo and story debuted every 10 days.

2006: Forever Angels opens its doors and the first 9 children are cared for.
2007: Capacity of 20 children is quickly surpassed and a 3 room extension is added to allow space for more children.
2008: On-site preschool opens for the children.
2009: 100th baby came into the baby home, solar power was installed to provide power during frequent power outages, capacity is now 50
2010: D.A.V.E. (developing adolescents through vocation and education) program began with 14 teens, 36 babies had life saving hydrocephalus surgery at the local hospital thanks to funds raised by Forever Angels, and Lilian and Jospehine completed 1 year of training to become managers at Forever Angels
2011: In it's first 5 years, Forever Angels has come so far.
Forever Angels has cared for 161 children and of those:
* 50 are living with us now
* 16 have been transferred to other orphanages
* 23 have been adopted into new families
* 60 have gone home to their biological families
....and 9 angels who will remain in our hearts forever, sadly died
2012: Socail welfare declared Forever Angels Baby Home the best Baby Home in all of Tanzania. Street Born began helping homeless pregnant teens to get maternity care and life off the streets.
