BENEFITING: Brain Aneurysm Foundation Incorporated
Katy and Ryan Trott
It's closing in on a month to go before I run the hardest race I will have participated in to date will some of the greatest people I've ever met! TARC 100 Many have run 100 miles before and many will continue to do so in the future. For those of us bold, daring, or stupid enough to find enjoyment in this sport we all have our first attempt at something we've not yet done. To me Labor Day weekend marks a point in time where I needed all the strength I could muster to handle the most difficult event I had ever experienced. It's not everyday your brother calls to tell you your father had a brain aneurysm rupture and he is being life flighted to Boston. It was a long road but he continues to improve as time goes on. I draw strength from his ability to over come this life altering event and dedicate my first 100 miler to Ken Trott, and in his name will be fundraising what I can for the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. Please If you or some one you know has suffered a brain injury and would like me to dedicate a particular mile to them it would be an honor.
