BENEFITING: AMERICAN NYSTAGMUS NETWORK
You can change the lives of those affected by Nystagmus with just a few clicks of the mouse with our new campaign, ‘10/10 For a Cure’.
Nystagmus is an eye condition that is defined as involuntary movement of the eyes. This condition causes daily struggles for individuals affected, and has no known cure and limited treatment options. Every year, thousands of parents are told that their infant has been diagnosed with an eye disease; a disease they can’t even pronounce. They are told this condition will affect all aspects of their lives, but there is little they can do to mitigate the disease’s impact.
But what we can do is continue the fight by helping to make each day a little better for those diagnosed with Nystagmus.
Join ‘10/10 For a Cure’: A gift of $10, along with forwarding this email to 10 or more friends, could change the lives of those living with Nystagmus. Your pledge can be made here www.crowdrise.com/1010ForaCure. A gift of any amount is greatly appreciated, and we encourage you to forward to as many friends as you wish. There is no limit to the number of people you can help us reach.
Since 1999, the American Nystagmus Network (ANN) has worked “to improve the lives of all persons and families affected by Nystagmus, through organized community support, education and public awareness.” The funds raised through this campaign will help ANN further our efforts through……
- Research to find a cure for Nystagmus as well as enhanced treatments.
- Support to young men and women pursuing a secondary education through our annual scholarship program.
- Awareness through local community events and eye care professionals’ conferences.
For many years, ANN has supported the Nystagmus community, but we need your help in order to expand our impact. Participating in this new campaign will help James learn to ride a bike and play sports with his friends, it will give Rachel the freedom to choose her dream college and not settle for the campus with public transportation, and it will help Alec land his dream job without worrying about lines on the eye chart. The American Nystagmus Network thanks you for supporting our efforts of ’10/10 For a Cure’.
