"There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up." Except for maybe a 10K!
Walking a 10K wasn't cutting it, so we've moved on to running one. Run10Feed10 is a 10K race put on by Women's Health that goes to supporting organizations that provide meals to some of the over 49 million Americans that are suffering from hunger right now. Here's how you can help!
The Long Version
Runners! If you're up for running with me (or away from me), please join the team! Race registration fees and any funds you raise provide meals to local food banks, like Food Bank for New York City and the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. Oh, you also get a limited edition FEED bag and all the race ammenities, like water, your very own race bib and timing chip! Contact me if you're interested in joining the team or have any quesitons about it.
Sponsors! We need you! If you're out of town, think you're out of shape (you're not!), or out of shoes, don't fret! You can make a difference by clicking the link on the right and making a donation. Any amount helps, but the website only takes a minimum of $10, so you're out of luck. Just kidding! Contact me if you want to donate another amount or don't want to make a donation online and we'll work it out!
Hunger affects 1 in 6 children in America, not only in their tummies, but with their ability to learn. Far worse than what happens to you without your morning Starbucks or DD! Here's more info https://www.crowdrise.com/feedfoundation
