So much has happened in 2016 that at times we forget smaller things, like the beauty of a great holiday memory.
My sisters and I would like to use these twelve days leading up to Christmas to help rally our family and friends and their family and friends in giving hope to the 44 million people in the world that currently have Alzheimer’s or a related dementia and to their families. Many of whom will have no recollection of these upcoming holidays or whose 2016's festivities will be the last they will remember the day after they happen. Probably someone we deeply care about will be one of them. Help us give her a lasting memory for her to treasure this holiday season.
We are partnering with The Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF) who has supported the first diagnostic test for Alzheimer's disease and has helped fund approximately 20% of all treatments for Alzheimer's currently in clinical trials.
Our donations will directly to fund grounbreaking research. To date, ADDF has invested more than $90 million to fund over 500 drug research programs at academic centers and biotechnology companies in 18 countries. After receiving ADDF support, grantees have gone on to receive commitments of over $2.5 billion in follow-on funding from government, pharmaceutical companies and venture capital firms. This is a testament to their rigorous review process and to the resources we provide grantees. Buttom line, your kind donation will be well spent.
In this 12 days we want to raise 12 hundred dollars (more if possible!) to help ADDF help those R&D warriors that are fighting every day so that we don't have to lose our loved ones to Alzheimer. Lets help them help those that are fighting so that we can all share the joy of cherishing the beauty of those lasting holiday memories.
By donating $1, $10, $25, $50, $120, etc. or simply helping us raise awareness by sharing this campaign YOU can contribute to #endalz.
