Executive Summary

“My Traveling Salon” is a newly started mobile salon that specializes in the new “nano link” hair extensions. Owned and operated by Amanda Fouche` at 229-776-2566.
This business will be based out of a car to start, as inventory and equipment needs are purchased. With the help a “Flux Chair,” portable shampoo sink and mobile salon kit, I will be able to do hair extensions and other salon needs, in the comfort of people’s homes. There is a market for this type of service. Salons are charging about $750 for inferior hair extensions. I can charge $250, including the hair, which lasts up to two years. The nano links are time consuming. Therefore, people may be more comfortable having them done at home. The elderly and stay-at-home moms, could also use mobile salon services. I can also work at times that brick and mortar salons are closed.
Researching the area I have found that there is no one who specializes in the latest technologies in hair extensions, salon on wheels, or efficient portable technology capabilities. It will take some time to develop a clientele, but with the purchase of the needed equipment and vinyl car decals, website and other advertising, I will be able to create a product that will be highly sought after.
I already own the domain name: www.MyTravelingSalon.com. I hope to place removal vinyl decals on the vehicle that I use and advertise in the Albany Herald, Tifton Gazette, Moultrie Observer, Yellow Pages, also on oodle.marketplace.com and local.com. along with any other suitable internet sites.

Background
I have a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design and can create my own website with only the cost of hosting, which I can pay for. I am a licensed cosmetologist and understand that I do not need a business permit for a mobile salon. I am a working stylist at Smart Style- Regis Corporation, in Moultrie, GA.

My Aspirations
I plan to employ about 2 other stylists that can help out, when I am working at my brick and mortar job. I want to expand to include nail services, sunless tanning and makeup services in the future.

Please look at my website at: www.mytravelingsalon.com , in order to see some of the basic equipment that I need.

Thank you for your time!

Sincerely,

Amanda Fouche`
