THE STORY:

ONE Armenia wrote -

You know that warm, fuzzy feeling you get when you give someone a gift that you know they'll love? Or that satisfied feeling you get when you buy local and know that you are supporting small businesses? This Christmas, ONEArmenia wants you to really feel  both in one sensational ball of holiday cheer.

That’s why we have created this simple platform for you, dear Santas, to browse and donate gifts that are 100% #madeinarmenia.  Partnering with Children of Armenia Fund (COAF), we will identify the children in local villages that could really use a little extra help this holiday season - a little of your help.

So put on your Santa hat, grab some milk and cookies and get shopping!

Honey and Bee toy

$10.00

A sweet honey pot

This sweet treat comes to you from Honey.am, producing locally made, socially responsible honey in Armenia. This gift supports economy on border villages and promotes a culture of healthier eating by substituting processed sugar with delicious, natural honey. Plus, it comes with this totally adorable bee buddy made by the women who are also living in border villages.

Zangak Books

$15.00

The gift of imagination

Gifting a book means you’re not only reaching one child in the villages, but a whole classroom of children that can benefit from the use of new, visually stimulating texts that are modern and engaging. Many village schools still rely on books that are dated and often don’t even have enough of those to go around. You can buy a children’s book that has been translated into Armenian and contribute to the early education of entire classrooms of kids.

Yeghvard Botas

$30.00

A fresh pair of kicks

Yeghvard is an original Armenian shoe brand that first opened its factory in the 1980s, producing sleek sneakers offered in black, white and navy blue. Fondly referred to as “Botas”, Armenians loved them then, and they love them now. Made entirely of leather, people sport these sneakers because they are long-lasting, comfortable and fashionable. If ever a sneaker could be described as vintage-chic, Yeghvard “Botas” is it.

HDIF Scarf, Hat & Socks

$40.00

The gift of warmth

Help us bundle up Armenia’s youth this winter with these beanies, scarves and socks proudly bearing iconic images of Armenian petroglyphs. Created by Goghovit Knits and Syrian Armenian women from Kobane, and distributed by Homeland Development Initiative Fund, these accessories keep our kids warm and support disabled Manush in Goghovit, as well as the Syrian Armenian women, not to mention aiding HDIF in their mission to encourage sustainable economic development in Armenia.

AVA shoes

$50.00

Cute to the boot

Syrian Armenians have been bringing a fresh taste of Armenian innovation and design to the homeland: AVA Shoes. AVA stands for the initials of three friends Antranig, Viken, and Anto, who opened their factory in 2014. This brand is proud of the fact that they make their product in Armenia; and for good reason. The designers value style, comfort, and durability, and that's exactly what they produce. These boots are the perfect gift for someone dealing with harsh Armenian winters as they are sturdy, reliable and of course- stylish!

ArmTab Tablets

$150.00

A super-cool tablet

Give the gift of innovation with Armenia’s first locally designed and produced tablet, courtesy of ArmTab! Loaded with educational apps for kids to tinker with, this tablet allows them to play and learn while using the latest technology.
