Making a difference for children, adults and families, living with developmental challenges by providing high quality programs and much needed relief and hope.
A world where all families having loved ones with developmental challenges are ensured access to critically needed support, in a space where children and adults can work towards achieving their highest potential.
The House of Possibilities (HOPe) is founded by a mother with a child with special needs who saw the need for a place that ensured each developmentally challenged son or daughter is provided the highest quality of possible care in a loving and nurturing environment. In 2009, we built our 11,000 square foot home-like facility built to serve those who need relief. We opened our doors as the first multi-use home-like facility on a college campus providing respite care for those families who were in need.
Stonehill College, in Easton, MA granted two acres of land on their campus. Our relationship with Stonehill College became a natural fit, as they strive to educate the whole person, heart and mind. Their students provide our core volunteer base.
We currently serve over 500 families in the Boston Metro area and strive to serve more.
