We are honored to run the 2015 Boston Marathon for the Yawkey House of Possibilities in Easton. The $ we raise supports HOPe. HOPe provides fun & stimulating activities for developmentally disabled children & respite for their families. We dedicate our training & racing to our HOPe "Hero" Gunnar Lutz, & all the children served by HOPe.
The House of Possibilities ( HOPe) was founded by the mother of a child with special needs who understood the need for a place that offered quality services to the developmentally challenged, while also providing their families and caregivers with much needed respite and relief. In 2009, HOPe was built on land generously leased to us by Stonehill College, and an 11,000 square foot home-like facility was built to serve the developmentally disabled and their families. Our partnership with Stonehill College has grown with many of their students becoming volunteer staff in our different programs. We currently serve over 65 towns in Massachusetts and strive to serve more in the years ahead.
