BENEFITING: COBURN PLACE SAFEHAVEN II INC
Thanks to Coburn Place Safe Haven, more than 60 women and more than 75 kids have a safe place to live, work and love this holiday season. (PS: Yes, men who have been victimized are welcome as residents, too.) Coburn is Indianapolis' transitional housing provider--and satellite services provider and domestic partner violence educator and partner-in-safety with so many Indy nonprofits. Residents have access to new beginnings at Coburn: training, counseling, transportation resources, tutoring, and so much more. Coburn was the first residential domestic violence program in Indiana to implement a voluntary, trauma informed model of service delivery -- the recognized (wisely) that those who've fled an abusive home do not need to have their hand forced or their agency removed. Coburn is a high-performing nonprofit, using its resources well and serving its residents with unrivaled passion. I am so proud to serve on the board of Coburn Place and I hope that, this Giving Tuesday, you will join the proud ranks of CPSH supporters by making a gift of $20 in honor of our 20th anniversary serving Indianapolis.
