WHAT IS THE GOAL?
The winter in Afghanistan causes serious humanitarian damage with the number of people dying on a constant rise. One of the main reasons why the number of victims are rising is because they do not have full preparation for the winter. Many families in Afghanistan don't have the means to buy warm clothing for the cold weather. Not many have a heated house to seek refuge in either. This year the Afghan Youth Relief is asking your help in donating gently used winter wear. Donating your winter clothes allows you to make a difference!
WHAT CAN I DONATE?
Clothes we will gladly take off your hands are mitts, hats, coats, sweaters, warm pants, and clean boots/shoes. Please remember that the clothing should be washed/clean and have been gently used- any clothing that is ripped, torn, dirty or used heavily will not be accepted.
Remember- any contribution is one step closer to keeping a child warm.
