GRASSROOT SOCCER via Crowdrise
April 19, 2012
MP & Silva is delighted to invite you to play in the MP & Silva Cup 2012— a unique charity football match at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, May 20th in support of Grassroot Soccer.
Join us to celebrate our partnership with Grassroot Soccer.
Soccer is a universal language and the world's most popular game. It is an integral part of local cultures across the world. It is something so positive that it brings smiles to the faces of both adults and children in even the worst of circumstances. Today’s soccer players are heroes to the kids who watch them play.
Grassroot Soccer uses the power of soccer to save lives by preventing the spread of HIV among girls and boys in Africa. These young people are the hardest-hit by this deadly virus. But through our innovative educational programmes and approach, Grassroot Soccer is empowering youth with the knowledge, skills and support they need to break the cycle of AIDS and transform the course of their lives forever. By the next World Cup in 2014, Grassroot Soccer aims to have educated one million young people about AIDS, helping them on the way to healthier, better lives.
We believe that the sports media TV industry can work together to raise funds for this important global charity and to really make a difference in the lives of these children.
So please join us for the MP & Silva Cup 2012 at the Emirates Stadium on May 20th, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.. All we ask in return is that you or your company makes a donation to Grassroot Soccer.
Donating through www.crowdrise.com/2012mpsilvacup is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are absolutely safe with Crowdrise. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Grassroot Soccer.
