I did the NYC Tri in 2011 for the first time. Since then I've logged hundreds of hours trying to get into better shape. When I decided to sign up for the 2012 race, my swimming partner, Mo Siegel, said "You should raise money for Swim Free!".
Well, who can say no to Mo. Scratch that, I know 1 or 2 people that still do. Anyway, Swim Free is a great organization that teaches kids and adults who otherwise wouldn't have access pool facilities the opportunity to learn how to swim. They also support swimmers through their "Swim Angels" program at open water swims and triatlons.
Join me is supporting Mo and this great organization.
As for me, I'm looking forward to a great race, and hopefully bringing my time down significantly!
