Minds Matter of Los Angeles helps academically achieving students from low-income families achieve the dream of a college education.  

Your gift to Minds Matter of Los Angeles will go twice as far, because it will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the All Ways Up Foundation.

Did you know less than 50% of high school graduates from low-income families will enroll in college, and less than 25% who attend college will graduate within four years? This is because they often lack access to basic resources necessary to compete and pay for college.

You have the power to change these troubling statistics in our community.

Thanks to Minds Matter of Los Angeles, along with the support of our volunteers and community, 100% of our graduates have successfully entered four-year college programs. Today, we have 25 students in top-tier universities across the country - all with substantial financial aid and scholarship packages. Two of our students from the 2014 graduating class were awarded Gates Millennium scholarships. Currently, we are preparing 44 high school students to be ready for college success. 

Your donation is a significant investment in helping low-income students succeed at college and have productive careers.

Minds Matter is a transformative program that inspires students, by providing knowledge and skills necessary for unlocking their full potential and enhancing academic performance. Students enter our program as sophomores, undertaking a rigorous three year program of academic tutoring. Each student has two mentors who guide them through this journey, helping them choose and apply to the right college. We work with their families, navigating the difficult financial aid and scholarship process.

It's because of people like you, that our students can achieve so much. Your contribution is critical to providing the funds necessary to make all of this happen.

Our mission is to transform the lives of accomplished high school students from low income families by broadening their dreams, preparing them for college success and beyond.
