2014 Random Acts of Kindness's Kindness Drive
Organized by: Margaret Zimmer
Suspended cups of coffee and meals, bubbles hidden in parks, love letters for strangers, compassion bags for the homeless, flowers and big smiley face balloons for people we met on the street,.... The possibilities are vast and endless with your support!
Using the words of Gandhi to guide us...Be the change you want to see in the world...which is really just the Golden Rule, don't you think?
I am looking for ways to spread random kindness...buy someone flowers, leave an anonymous note of encouragement for a friend, help hold the door for a stranger, give to a charity in a honor/memory of someone special, buy and take food to the animal shelter, volunteer your time at the Boys and Girls Club, put extra bird seed for the wintering birds, etc. The opportunities are endless.
When we have had the opportunity to spread a kindness, big or small, we come back here to share our stories and ideas with each other...which is another act of kindness in and of itself. Telling stories of positivity, love, tolerance and kindness. What a gift!
I hope you join us...your support is greatly appreciated!
Peace and kindness to you!
