Thank you for visiting my Pan Mass Challenge/ Boston Bruins Foundation Team fundraising page!
I am very excited to be riding in my 9th Pan Mass Challenge this year, and continue riding with Boston Bruins Foundation Team!!!
In December of 2004, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer. It was a challenging time physically, emotionally, and financially. I was very fortunate that I made it through that difficult time, due to the unbelievable care that was given to me at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the Brigham Womens Hospital. Now, over 10 years later, I feel great and I cherish every day that I get to spend with my wife Michele and my two girls Madison and Meaghan.
I owe it all to the people like you, people who donate their time, their money, and their good will to make sure there is funding for advances in medicine to defeat cancer. Without you, I may not even be alive to be writing this. You are the reason I ride. There are many more who suffer and need our help. I am grateful to be part of such a special weekend.
This year I am dedicating my ride to my very great friend and college roommate Jeff Briggs. Briggsy was diagnosed with cancer of the tonsils this past year and faced the challenge head on. He is not only a great inspiration, but a great person to boot and I am more than proud to call him my friend. I couldn't be prouder to forward him a "Living Proof" pin as he has now joined the club. Great work Briggsy, love you bro!
Last year, I raised just over $7,200! This brings my 8 yr total to over $45,000!
If there is anyone you would like me to ride for who may have lost their battle or who is battling cancer right now, please let me know and I will add their name to my shirt.
Please forward my site to others in your family and friends who may want to help out. I appreciate your kindness and generosity.
Remember, each year we get closer by the mile.
