Growing up I was unable to learn how to ride a bicycle due to my family obligations and low income. As the years passed, the more my desire grew to learn how to ride a bike the more my fears grew. It was challenging, but late last year I began to peddle my fears away. With challenges comes opportunity! Now I have the opportunity to peddle for a create cause and organization Bronxworks.
Bronxworks helps toddlers to seniors, feed, shelter, teach, and support our neighbors to build a stronger community.
Thank you for your support!!

BronxWorks is once again this year a charity partner in the TD Five Boro Bike Tour, America’s largest cycling event. On Sunday, May 3rd, 2015, 32,000 people will ride over 40 miles of car-free streets through all 5 boroughs in New York City. The money raised through this event will support children’s programs at our shelters for homeless families.
With YOUR support, the children living temporarily in our 3 residences for homeless families will have happier days during the challenging times their families are facing. The stress of homelessness affects children in a profound way, impacting their physical and mental health, school performance, and overall development. Recreational and educational activities expand their world beyond the daily challenges of being homeless and can counteract some of the negative impacts. Please join us. Together, we can bring joy to the lives of these children and their families.
