SCENARIOS USA INC wrote -
Scenarios provides an arts-based program for public school classrooms with students from marginalized communities writing stories about issues that shape their lives. Those stories engage award-winning filmmakers who produce three of them into short films seen by 20 million people. Watch the films on YouTube.
As part of the Scenarios program, students address some pretty big issues: racial injustice, sexual assault, bullying, gender-based violence, HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ, pregnancy, substance abuse, among other very real and pressing topics. Scenarios allows young people, whose voices are often not heard, to shape the conversation. And now, there are 140 Scenarios schools and educators at 30 more want to get immediate access for the spring semester, which will cost $30,000. That’s $1,000 per school -- or just $30 to make a difference in a single student’s life.
