Through the Leadership Foundation’s End of Year Campaign, we aim to raise $100,000 by February 1, 2016. All donations to this campaign will go toward the operational costs of the Fellows Program, ensuring the Leadership Foundation is able to pave the path forward for greater numbers of women leaders rising. Please contribute today to support our mission of building better leadership!
Established in 1990, the Leadership Foundation channels the talents of IWF members and the resources of IWF’s global network into educational and professional development programs that inspire and empower the next generation of women leaders. Together, our footprint is felt in 57 nations.
For the last 25 years, the Fellows Program has changed the lives and trajectory of more than 450 women who have experienced this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to challenge their assumptions and expand their horizons. This year, 34 high potential leaders from 14 countries were selected to participate. Each poised to shape the world we live in, these remarkable and diverse women represent the brightest prospects from governments, nonprofits, academia, and business.
As participants in the Fellows Program, they will receive a year of intensive personal and leadership development training through customized executive education programs produced in partnership with the Harvard Business School and INSEAD Business School. In addition to these trainings, each fellow is matched with an IWF member who serves as her mentor and coach during the program year.
The heart of the Fellows Program is women helping women, and to ensure this reaches beyond the participants themselves, they each design and implement a Legacy Project. This component of the program provides each fellow the opportunity to leverage what they have learned to help expand the leadership capacity of women in their organization and community-creating a ripple effect that empowers more women to aspire to leadership roles.
With your support, we can make a deep impact on the paradigm of leadership!
