BENEFITING: THE IRONMAN FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: THE IRONMAN FOUNDATION
EVENT: TEAM IMF
EVENT DATE: Sep 27, 2015
In 2015, for my 30th Birthday - I have set the goal to complete my second Ironman! I will work towards that goal and on September 27, 2015 compete in IRONMAN Chattanooga. However, I've made the decision to not make accomplishing this great goal just about me this time (I'll be honest and say the first one was so I could call myself an IRONMAN) but instead will be competing for a much greater cause this time. I've joined Team Ironman Foundation (IMF) and will be working to raise a goal of $3,000 for the Foundation. However, that is the minimum goal and I truly believe we can come together (I'm talking to you friends and family reading this) and raise much more than that!
Since I have made this my Birthday Goal to accomplish - I'm asking that anyone that may have been considering a birthday gift this year, please donate instead to my fundraising goal. Reaching my goal and being a part of contributing to a great cause will be the best 30th Birthday gift you can give!
Please read the brief narrative below that tells a little more about the IRONMAN Foundation. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about this effort please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks for your support!

All money raised through the TEAM IMF program will benefit The IRONMAN Foundation, and specifically - the Community Fund Program. This program benefits those in the communities where IRONMAN events are held, by providing charitable support to a variety of local non-profit organizations that recognize citizens in need and provide support to the local community.
Within those communities, The IRONMAN Foundation will provide grant funding opportunities to non-profit organizations, while also working with community leaders to identify projects that will benefit the community and provide funding to support those initiatives. The IRONMAN Foundation has provided funding opportunities of nearly twenty nine million dollars to numerous non-profit beneficiaries worldwide.
