This year’s Piano Celebration will be hosted April 18 & 19, 2015 in the Quad Cities of Iowa and Illinois, at Northpark Mall in Davenport.

The event features celebrity pianists, high-achieving student pianists, piano teacher studios, living room performers, musicians and vocalists. Piano students and participants raise money and then showcase their piano talent while spreading the word that Piano Study = Brain Development. Piano lessons support brain development, helps to develop self-confidence, creativity, self-esteem, self-discipline, and critical thinking skills. Piano study also helps to build critical thinking skills in people of all ages. The money that is raised at Piano Celebration by the students and the donations taken the days of the event go to the Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois (RMHC-EIWI). Scott and Rock Island Counties are among the highest counties of residence for families served by RMHC-EIWI's core program, the Ronald McDonald House of Iowa City.

Since its conception in 2003, the annual Piano Celebration has raised over $350,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois.

Piano Celebration was founded by a group of piano teachers and music educators called Piano For A Richer Life. The goal of Piano For A Richer Life is to increase an awareness, recognition, and support for the study of piano for people of all walks of life.
