The Jewish Community Centre in Krakow is rebuilding a Jewish community almost completely destroyed by the Holocaust and then driven underground for 45 years during communism. With over 550 Jewish members, the JCC now serves as the focal point of the rebirth of Jewish life in Poland.
On June 3rd, I will be traveling to Krakow to participate in the annual Ride for the Living. On June 5th, we will be cycling 55-miles from Auschwitz-Birkenau to JCC Krakow to celebrate and support the miraculous rebirth of Jewish life in Poland today - riding from the ashes of the concentration camps to the vibrant heart of Jewish life thriving at JCC Krakow.
Please consider supporting my fundraising efforts. A donation of $100 or more supports weekly Shabbat dinners, and you'll also become an Overseas Member of the JCC! A donation of $180 will support programming for over 100 Holocaust survivors, and a donation of $360 enhances the rich programs offered through their Gimmel Club for teens (Gimmel the 3rd letter stands for the 3rd generation since the Holocaust). This year I have decided that I will personally match all donations, doubling the impact of your gift.
Thank you for your support!
