BENEFITING: Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank
This year marks the 23rd year of Carnegie Mellon’s Annual Food Drive, sponsored by Staff Council, which benefits Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Since its inception, the drive has resulted in the following contributions for the Food Bank:
• 130,000 pounds (that's 65 tons) of food!!!
• More than $40,000!!!
Donate on this page, and your gift goes directly to Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. This year's online goal is $4,000. All funds collected on this page will count toward our CMU totals, in addition to what we will continue to collect in cash contributions at our annual campus events. You can also participate in this year’s drive by contributing non-perishable and/or monetary contributions at the following events:
• Wednesday, November 2nd: One Day, One Can, in conjunction with the university’s Benefits & Fitness Fair in the Cohon University Center
• Thursday, November 10th: Snack Bags for Kids
• Monday, November 14th: Cans Across the Cut
For more details click here or see flyers posted across campus. However you choose to participate, please join the campus community in helping to end hunger in Pittsburgh and make this our largest drive ever! Thank you, in advance, for your support!
