Did you know that 1 in 5 adults and more than 300,000 children live with arthritis, which is the #1 cause of disability in the United States?
The RiverRide100 name was born when our group rode 100 miles one day on the rail trails of western Pennsylvania following several rivers along the way. But now, you can participate anywhere, anytime this August. Ride your bike on trails, through the city, country or suburbs, or even in spin class or on a stationary bike. By participating or donating, you will help raise money for the Arthritis Foundation to fund research, legislative advocacy, and treatments and other resources.
To participate, pledge to ride 50, 75 or 100 miles. You can ride that distance in one day or over many days. It’s entirely up to you. For many people with arthritis, bike riding is an excellent activity because it is low impact and great exercise to keep the body moving.
Please click on Set Up Your Fundraiser to register at no cost. Then, let everyone you know via email and social media to let them know that you're riding and they can ride and/or donate to support you. It’s that easy!
