THE STORY:

After taking most of 2014 and 2015 off due to horrible sciatica, I look forward to raising funds and awareness for the Natick Service Council.

On April 18th, I will run what will be my 20th full marathon since 2006. Having logged more than 4,000 miles of training and racing over the past decade, this journey will rank among my toughest running challenges yet. I am excited to be returning to my "recreationational marathoner" status and toeing the line in Hopkinton this spring. Please join me through your generous support, and please remember to do what you can, when you can, for someone in need.

I am grateful to serve as a member of the Board at the Natick Service Council and am proud to live in a community, a whole region, that takes care of its own. I'll never lead the Boston Marathon, but hopefully I can lead by example.  Your tax deductible donations will go toward providing vital social services, heart healthy food, home heating assistance and emergency, 'bridging' support for those who have hit a hard time in their lives. NO ONE is immune from sudden injury or illness, job loss, or unexpected stresses on our families and the Natick Service Council helps to connect indiviudals in need with the resources and information that will help the most, when it's needed the most.

Donate securely here, online, or please make checks payable to "Natick Service Council" and mail to me at: 66 School Street Extension, Natick, MA 01760

About the Natick Service Council:

Natick Service Council helps Natick residents in need with access to food, housing, heat, employment, and health care with the goal of promoting self-sufficiency. We are guided by the motto 'Neighbors Helping Neighbors' and serve our fellow community members with dignity, compassion, and confidentiality. Each year, we support over 700 Natick families and Team NSC is committed to helping us raise significant awareness and funds that directly support our programs and services, such as our Heart Health Food Pantry, Case Management Program, Financial Aid, Career Counseling and Holiday Programs. We are proud to be participating in the 2015 Boston Marathon again this year. Our runners are passionate, dedicated individuals who want to support the Natick Service Council.
