1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
1 in 67 will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
Bright Pink is a national nonprofit that empowers young women to reduce their risk of breast and ovarian cancer and detect these diseases early while they are still treatable. Bright Pink's free educational programs make prevention and early detection a persistent and postive part of women's lives.
In 2016, I will be joining others running for Bright Pink in an effort to raise over $200,000 for the charity. $200,000 has the power to educate and potentially save the lives of nearly 50,000 young women through Bright Pink's educational programs.
