Running a marathon is easy compared to being a struggling youth. While I "have" to get up early to log miles in the cold Winter months, many teens don't have a choice but to fight and survive without a home. The training that is necessary to run a marathon can be isolating, but not as isolating as being a LGBTQ youth with no one to talk to.
No young person should have to face their stuggles alone. Please donate whatever you can to help give LSS a boost in their resources so they can continue improving both the quality and quantity of their youth programs.

The LSS Grandma's Marathon Team is raising funds to support young people in the Duluth area! In greater Duluth, Lutheran Social Service (LSS) helps over 600 young people every year, making thousands of contacts with them and providing them with the resources they need to launch into a productive, healthy and independent life.
