2016 Reynolds Middle School Trip to Sano, Japan
Organized by: Cory Robison
Where: Lancaster, PA to Sano, Japan
When: May, 2016
In May, Reynolds Middle School is sending (4) 8th Grade students on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Sano, Japan. Students look forward to this trip all year. But we can only make it happen with your support.
The unique six-day journey to Sano immerses students in Japan's history, culture, and natural wonders. Students develop a deep understanding of Sano's community, including food, sports, family life, language, and academics.
For most of our students, the journey to Sano is their first time boarding a plane or traveling far from home and their first opportunity to experience a foreign land that is full of rich culture, traditions, and history.
This year, Reynolds Middle School, located in the School District of Lancaster, will select only 4 students to attend the trip. More than 75% of School District of Lancaster's students come from low income households and cannot afford to pay for the trip on their own. The funds raised on this website will help to cover the airfare and meals for participating students.
Your help is essential in making this trip a reality. This trip creates lifelong memories, expands horizons, and reinforces the connection between working hard at school and the possibilities that exist in the world outside our neighborhood. The SDoL teachers, staff, parents, and students are all working hard to make this trip happen. We truly appreciate your support.
