BENEFITING: CHICAGO LIGHTS
ORGANIZER: CHICAGO LIGHTS
EVENT DATE: Oct 09, 2016
This year, I plan to dedicate my marathoning to an organization whose mission inspires and motivates me: Chicago Lights. Chicago Lights, an outreach of Fourth Presbyterian Church in downtown Chicago, works with children, young people, and adults in Chicago living in poverty to bring about empowerment, stablity, and health. Chicago Lights has five outreach programs: Dance Academy, the Elam Davies Social Services Center, which provides a variety of services ranging from case management to clothing and housing assistance, Summer Day, a six-week program for first through ninth graders with academic and arts instruction, weekly tutoring for students from under-resourced neighborhoods, and the Urban Farm. Your donation will help support and sustain all of these programs.
I firmly believe in the work of Chicago Lights, and hope you will join me in supporting this fantastic organization this year.
