Welcome to Cohasset ASP's fundraising page for our 2017 trip! Please click on the orange button to the right to donate. It will then ask you for which volunteer you are submitting a donation for, amount, etc.
How might your donation be allocated on our trip? While we raise all our funds to help make the trip happen (travel, food, lodging, building supplies), here is an example: $25 will purchase enough paint to paint a child's room; $100 could be used to repair a home's foundation; $250 would buy materials to re-shingle a leaky roof. Every donor will receive a postcard from their volunteer while on the trip. Thank you for helping support our mission to help those less fortunate and provide a potentially life-changing experience for our youth!
Cohasset Appalachia Service Project is a faith-based, home repair ministry, open to all people, that fosters human development by working with the Appalachia Service Project. Since 1989, each summer, 100 to 200 individuals from towns on Boston’s South Shore get to know families in the Central Appalachian Mountains by helping them improve their homes. The Counties we serve are among the poorest in the United States. We are currently raising money for our June 2017 trip.
