We are thrilled to welcome Aaron Johnson as one of our Shoe Guys for the 4th Annual Wine Women & Shoes event! Your donation helps provide meaningful support to foster kids in the community through Olive Crest.
After being raised to a young man, Aaron Johnson thought there might be something better than the blue collar suburbs of Detroit, MI and decided to travel the United States to satisfy his adventurous spirit. He has been to 39 national parks, and 47 states (sorry Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Iowa). After landing in the best place in the country he could find - Seattle! - he found a white collar job to support his family and has been a project manager ever since - this guy can plan! Aaron loves his two kids, who are national champion unicyclists! A kid at heart himself, he decided to do more than support them from the sidelines, and two years ago decided to get involved and closer to them by riding himself (a very Dad thing to do). Two years and a few bumps and bruises later, he is a competitive unicyclist and performer that finds unicycling with his kids keeps him young at heart. As you can tell, Aaron is all about kids and thinks Olive Crest is a great organization for the kids who may need support most of all. Aaron is a member of the Unicycling Society of America (USA), his local Snoqualmie Valley Unicycling Club (SVUC) and this summer directed the North American Unicycling Championships and Convention in the Snoqualmie Valley. Aaron can be found riding his unicycle at halftime shows, and mountain unicycling the local outdoor trails with his local club and his kids.
