BENEFITING: LOST LAKE RUN
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disorder that affects mostly the lungs, but also the pancreas, liver, kidneys and intestines.
Breakthrough treatments have added years to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis. While there has been significant progress in treating this disease, there is still no cure and too many lives are cut far too short.
Since it's inception in 1992, the Lost Lake Run has raised over $2 million dollars for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. On each of the last two years checks for $190,000 have been sent to the CF Foundation. We are hoping that this year we might be able to help them break $200,000 in donations.
On a personal note, in the last couple of years several members of our family have battled life-threatening illnesses. Without the generous support by people like you to groups like the CF Foundation, many of the services we have received would have simply been unavailable.
Thank you for helping us to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in their mission to find a cure for cystic fibrosis and improve the quality of life for those living with the disease!
