#HonorTheirSacrifice Massachusetts Fallen Heroes is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to honoring those who have given their lives in service since September 11th, 2001. The mission of Massachusetts Fallen Heroes is to Honor the fallen, Support families of the fallen and to Empower returning Veterans. The Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial honors the memory of the fallen, by preserving their name in a public tribute and acknowledging their sacrifice. The first-of-its-kind in the nation, Memorial stands tall at 50ft and is located in the Seaport Common. Massachusetts Fallen Heroes is dedicated in our mission to raise awareness of the sacrifices made by our fallen heroes. In 2016, we created our first Educational Program that took place during Patriot Week, 14 schools were visited. This year we are visiting 34 schools across the Commonwealth. We bring a Gold Star family member and a Veteran to the participating school and they share their stories describing what the meaning of Honor, Service, Sacrifice, Character and Duty mean to them. By coordinating special events, annual dinners and excursions MFH brings Gold Star Families and Veterans together. This technique of outreach has united the Massachusetts Gold Star and Veteran communities in a unique bond of shared loss and healing.
Massachusetts Fallen Heroes empowers local Veterans through, Veteran’s Edge.
