BENEFITING: Museum of Science and Industry
ORGANIZER: Museum of Science and Industry
Back in da Chi and ready to run! I am excited to run the 40th running of the Chicago Marathon. Initially, I was bummed out because I missed the application deadline. So, I had to run for a charity. I am glad that I found a worthy cause and team to raise money for and run with. As an engineer, I fully support the vision of the Museum of Science and Industry’s Annual Fund: “to inspire and motivate our children to achieve their full potential in the fields of science, technology, medicine and engineering.” As you may know, I often proselytize about engaging our young kids in the ways of science and engineering. So I am stoked to be running for a charity that supports this mission.
My profile picture is from when I finished the Chicago Marathon in 2014. I ran it 4:09. I was looking to blow that time out of the waters. But I lost a step or two since then. My goal now is to run about that time. I signed up to train with CARA. I am committed to the process.
I would be happy if you’d support me and support this charity.
