We are asking for donations for our Costa Rica Global Outreach Program. Partnering with surgeons at the National Children's Hospital (Hospital Nacional de Ninos) in Costa Rica's capital city of San Jose, SpineHope launched a Costa Rica Global Outreach Program to help impoverished children receive the surgeries they need to correct spinal deformities and other complex spine conditions. Our next Costa Rica mission is scheduled for February 24 - March 3, 2018. With a waiting list of 100+ children in need of surgery, our week long medical mission trips to Costa Rica have allowed us to provide care to 10% each visit. During our visits, our volunteer teams perform several life-changing operations; see dozens of children in clinic to recommend treatment plans and evaluate options; and both educate and train local surgeons and medical staff on innovative techniques and after-care procedures. Our host surgeons, their residents and hospital staff continue to show how dedicated they are to our program. Our teams truly change lives! Week-long Spine medical mission trips require considerable resources to cover an array of expenses for our amazing volunteers and the children we serve, including travel, lodging, medical supplies and other needed supplies for the children. We are asking for your help. Your generous donation will help us continue to make an impact and support the volunteers that make it possible for those who otherwise would not get this chance for more pain-free and fulfilled lives. Thank you for your generosity and support!
