Each year for my birthday, I raise money in support the Junior Blind Olympics, an event very dear to me.
Sports and recreation empower children to develop the physical, social and independent skills needed to achieve lifelong success. Unfortunately, children with vision loss have limited access to these enriching opportunities. Thankfully, the Junior Blind Olympics provides these youth with the opportunity to discover how sports can transform their lives by motivating them to try new things and realize successes they never thought possible.
Athletes participate in the Junior Blind Olympics at no cost, which is crucial since 92% of our families served are low-income, so we rely on the support of friends like you to help make this event possible.
For each $100 raised, one athlete will have the opportunity to participate in challenging, fun and confidence-building activities. Help us give this opportunity to as many children as possible!
