Let's send another 5 kids!!!!
March 14, 2017
As the Recreation Programs Manager at Junior Blind and the Camp Director of Camp Bloomfield, I see the positive impact of the Junior Blind Olympics on the kids we serve every single day.
The Junior Blind Olympics is a sporting event where hundreds of blind and visually impaired athletes get the unique chance to participate in sports adapted just for them, something that isn't done at their schools or on their playgrounds at home. That's why this annual event is so important... it gives them the chance to experience success and achievement where they may never have in their lives before.
Because you helped me raise $500 on Pi Day, the kids from Junior Blind will pie me to celebrate tomorrow! For each person who gives or has given $25 or more, an additional pie will be tossed at me in your name. You'll get a special shout-out in the video AND a super special thank you card mailed to you that our kids will Braille with your name on it!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me make the dreams of these athletes come true. Your support makes a real difference in their lives.
