Dear Friends and Family,
The House of Corrie ten Boom will go on its annual spring retreat in Asbury Park, New Jersey on March 31. Every year, we look forward to spending time as sisters, outside the hustle and bustle of New York City.
We, the House of Corrie ten Boom, are sisters sharing in adventure, pursuing truth, and thriving together. Over the course of the four years in the house, we hope to create a community that fosters peace, joy, and valor in one another as we go through King’s together. By the time each woman graduates, she will have been loved well by the other member’s of the house and will have learned what it looks like to spend intentional time in community. Our retreat every spring is vital to the health of the House, it is over this weekend that we can build these relationships further without the distractions of everyday life in the city.
This year, we implemented new ways to raise money for the house. We took advantage of the ingenuity of our girls and held both a Christmas Candy Gram fundraiser and the first ever “Ten Boom Thrift Shop.” Between these two fundraisers, we were able to raise $1,700!
However, we still need your help in order to make our Spring Retreat happen. It is with your generosity and donations that we will be able to raise the remaining $1000 necessary in order to go on retreat this year. No amount is too small; every penny donated is one step towards providing every member of the house with this wonderful opportunity.
All peace and joy,
President of the House of Corrie ten Boom
