2017 CWS Walk-n-Roll
EVENT DATE: Sep 30, 2017
1st Annual Walk-N-Roll to benefit Dreams From The Hardt
Westbrook Riverbank Park- next to Creative Work Systems Main Office
10 Speirs Street, Westbrook
The goal of the CWS Walk-N-Roll is to raise money to benefit Dreams from the Hardt, a
dream granting program created in 2005 to honor the memory of J. D. Hardt, a beloved
CWS employee taken from us too soon. J. D. was generous, kind spirited, and
encouraged everyone he knew to believe in the power of harnessing resources to make
dreams come true. At CWS, we share J.D.’s belief that the passion and potential of
dreams can shape lives, and the dream-granting process starts with you. It’s our hope that
anyone who knows us or someone with disabilities and believes in the power of a dream
will help us fund Dreams from the Hardt with a sponsorship, direct donation, in-kind
donation or the identification of resources to help us make a dream come true.
ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of the proceeds from our Walk-N-Roll will go towards making the wishes of our participants come true.
About Creative Work Systems
CWS has been supporting and inspiring adults with disabilities at
home, at work, and in the community in Maine for 50 years. We seek to expand
opportunities for people with disabilities to ensure that all individuals have the means to
live, work, and contribute to their communities while being treated with dignity and
respect. Today, through services in employment, residential and independent living,
Brain Injury and community day programs, CWS serves hundreds of people with
disabilities each year. As a nonprofit, we often rely on the generosity of businesses and
individuals like you to further our progress.
