In 2017, every single TCS New York City marathoner, supporter and volunteer can unite to contribute towards the goal of raising funds for charities across the world.
Historically, the marathon has raised a massive amount of money for charity, and our goal is to bring the entire running community together. When you run 26.2 miles for a charity, you'll cross the finish line for yourself, but for so many that will benefit from your fundraising.
New York Road Runners and CrowdRise encourage you, and every single runner, to support a meaningful cause. So this year, don’t just run for yourself; run for research, run for a cause, run for a cure and run to make the world a better and healthier place for all.
Starting a CrowdRise fundraiser does not guarantee you an entry to the 2017 TCS New York City Marathon. If you need a guaranteed entry, you must contact the charity before setting up a fundraising page. You can also start a charity page on CrowdRise if you are not an official charity, but you will not receive guaranteed entry to the TCS New York City Marathon.
