The Autism Society Oakland County’s mission is to advocate for meaningful participation in all aspects of life for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families.
Over the years, the Walk 4 Autism has funded programs and services that promote community awareness of ASD, and create opportunities for individuals with ASD in the areas of education, recreation, social clubs, housing, and employment, in addition to providing family resources and support.
Join us for a fun-filled event that raises money for a great cause.
Registration: 8:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.
Rally & Stretch 8:45 - 9:10am
Walk: 9:15 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
The morning will feature:
Music by the FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation’s PHAT Beats Group and DJ Mikester.
Sensory Room by The Therapty Spot
Arts and Craft Station by The Art Experience
Free massages by BodyWorks Chiropractic and Soft Tissue Center
Fuse 45 by Cycle and Row
Mico-Businesses operated by people with special needs.
Information vendor fair with area resources.
Registration is $20 for adults; $10 for children 6-17 yrs and children 5 and under are free. Walkers will receive a t-shirt on the day of the Walk while supply lasts.
Come alone or create a team! Anyone is welcome to come and walk.
