2017 Walk for Animals
EVENT DATE: Apr 23, 2017
The event takes place April 23, 2017 at 1 P.M. (Registration starts at noon.) The Walk and patio party will take place at the SPCA Albrecht Center located at 199 Willow Run Road in Aiken.
Why we walk: The SPCA Albrecht Center is a nonprofit organization that strives to help both animals and people. From rehabilitating an abused dog to offering low cost veterinarian care to families in need, our goal is to improve the quality of life for everyone. As a nonprofit, we depend on the generosity of our community so we can continue our mission. We do not receive funding from the government or the ASPCA, which is a separate entity.
On April 23, we will take a stroll with our pets, to show our pride in what our staff, wonderful volunteers and generous donors do. Afterwards, join us for a patio party at the SPCA as we kick off our Yappy Hour season with a cookout, drinks and DJ Jeff Edwards. Check out our facility - including our dog park - and all of our wonderful furry friends. Please join us and help us raise funds so we can continue being an effective part of the Aiken community.
