Once upon a time in the San Fernando Valley, I decided to take a run. Sadly, it was to the corner burger shop for a bacon double cheeseburger and chili fries but it was there that I probably made the healthiest decision of my life. You see, as I waited for my order I happened upon a flyer for a half marathon training program and I took a chance ... and I've been running ever since. I've run dozens of marathons, half-marathons, 10ks and 5ks and use those experiences (and fabulous medals) to inspire my 3rd graders to 'Set a goal', 'Try their best', and 'Get great results'.
So, here I am hoping that this 'running thing' can help raise awareness and funds for a worthwhile cause like Train4Autism. It is an amazing cause that will make such an impact on so many lives. Please consider donating. With just a month left before the race, time is running out ... and this time it's not to get a burger.
Thank you for considering donating.
