2018 Red Ribbon Ride
EVENT DATE: Apr 29, 2018
DEADLINE TO GIVE: Apr 29, 2018
The road is calling your name! So is a great opportunity for you to join us in supporting those living with HIV and AIDS. The annual Red Ribbon Ride is Sunday, April 29, 2018! The event raises funds and awareness for the Alliance of AIDS Services - North Carolina. The Alliance has partnered with the cycling community for over a decade to host these fun and exciting events.
This year's Red Ribbon offers 15, 30, 62 and 100 mile routes winding through the gentle, rolling hills of southwestern Wake County. A great excuse to get outside, get some exercise, make new friends and support a very worthy effort and local charitable organization.
We have seen tremendous progress in the fight against HIV and AIDS, but the crisis is far from over. While the number of those dying from the disease is dramatically down, the number of new infections has been rising at an alarming rate. The Alliance of AIDS Services - North Carolina has been at the forefront of tackling the challenges presented by HIV and AIDS for decades. Through our testing and prevention programs, we protect those threatened by HIV. Through our Food Bank, CLEAR program, Support Groups and Faith Ministries we support those living with it. Please join us in our effort to honor those that we have lost to this crisis.
The Red Ribbon Ride will take place on April 29th, 2018 and will benefit the Alliance of AIDS Services- Carolina.
