You know the drill by now... On April 30th Team 24 Sore Feet (led by our fearless Captain, Sir Christopher Golis) will be running 191 miles through 36 cities and across the Golden Gate Bridge in all hours of the night promoting organ donation. During the Golden Gate Relay, known as California's Longest Party, the passing of the baton between team members will symbolize the transfer of an organ from donor to recipient. The Golden Gate Relay is dedicated to Katie Grace Groebner (born 7/16/02) who received a new heart and lungs on 6/14/14.
In order to encourage you to give, B-Rex will be taking photo and video requests via Facebook for anyone who donates $50 or more and the videos and photos will be posted on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/24SoreFeet/ You can also get a preview of what B-Rex looks like. Things B-Rex finds hilarious so far are sledding in the snow and playing ping pong.
Please discuss your personal wishes regarding organ donation with your family. This will allow loved ones to make an informed decision if you become a potential organ donor. Thanks in advance for your support of 125,000 Americans waiting for organ transplants.
You can donate here, or by check payable to Organs R Us, 570 El Camino Real, Suite 150-330, Redwood City, CA 94063. Please write 24 Sore Feet on the bottom of your check if you choose that route so we get credit. THANK YOU!!!
