250 Mile Ride for Leukemia and Nepal Relief
Organized by: Christopher Thomas
Your white blood cells are potent infection fighters — what if these fighters were incapacitated? With leukemia, the bone marrow produces white blood cells unable to fight off disease. Help leukemia treatments for children, & support a kid who has traveled a long journey since being diagnosed with leukemia.
Your donation will also support locally derived and driven earthquake relief in Nepal. As a veteran of many earthquake responses, the best way to help those affected is to make a monetary donation to a reputable humanitarian organization working in the disaster zone.
Breakdown is 50% & 50% respectively for leukemia and Nepal relief.
We are riding the Katy May 16-19 (camping outdoors). The trail connects small towns from the west side to the east side of Missouri. The trail is known as “The Katy” for its namesake — the former Missouri-Kansas-Texas (MKT) Railroad.
If we raise $10,000 -- I will ride final leg sans clothes. Non-explicit photos will be avail.
