BENEFITING: SYRIA RELIEF & DEVELOPMENT
EVENT DATE: Oct 23, 2015
GOAL: Raise a minumum of 25 hundred dollars by my 25th birthday on October 23rd.
I've never been very big on celebrating my birthday nor do I ever ask for gifts, but this year I was inspired to make an exception. I would love nothing more than to raise and distribute a minimum of $2,500 for Syrian refugees over the course of the next month by my 25th birthday.
Since the start of the Syrian conflict in 2011, there have been over 150,000 reported deaths, over 10,000 were children; 6.4 million internally displaced, 5.5 million children affected by the crisis, over 2.9 million refugees; and 10.8 million Syrians overall, are in need of humanitarian assistance, inside and outside of Syria. If you aren't familiar with this catastophic global humanatarian failure, please watch the short video to your left.
I'm asking all my family and friends to please consider donating $25 (my age in dollars) or anything you can to my campaign for Syria Relief and Development (SRD), a U.S. based nonprofit organization formed by Syrian-Americans, which strives to provide crisis and humanitarian relief and plant the seeds of sustainable development for the people of Syria. No amount is too small, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to SRD to providing families in need with care packages with enough food to last for four months.

Help me make this birthday my best yet and donate to my 25 by 25: Birthday Campaign for Syria!
