26.2 for Ale
Organized by: Arlene Flores
EVENT DATE Oct 11, 2015
Running the Long Beach Marathon on October 11, 2015 for Ale! #teamale #forale
My niece Alessandra was diagnosed with Leukemia on July 4, 2015. Ale is a kind, smart, beautiful 5 year old little girl who has become our hero. She's such a fighter, she's been through so much the last couple of weeks yet she's still smiling. When she was told that a side effect of chemotherapy would be losing her beautiful hair she chose to have it cut before she lost it so that she could donate her hair to help others. She chose to donate her toys, books etc to other kids. That's Ale, the caring angel. The road to recovery is long but we know God is with her and he will hear our prayers. Please help raise money for Ale, for medical costs that the insurance does not cover, every little counts and if you can't donate please keep her in your prayers. "The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope" God bless you all.
